Drake surprised the crowd at a recent Backstreet Boys concert in Toronto.
The ’90s boy band brought out their “sixth member” last Saturday to sing “I Want It That Way“, which was apparently a special part of Drake’s teenage years.
Drake shared, “At my bar mitzvah, for the first time in my life, this girl who I was in love with came up to me while one of the greatest songs of all time played . . . She asked me if I would dance with her to the song. It was the first time I ever felt acknowledged like I had a shot at being cool.”
Drake, posted a clip singing “’Cause I want it that way” on Instagram captioning the post, “When she says she’s over men in this generation and asks why I live alone…”

“Toronto, I want you to make some noise and I want you to sing this song as loud as you possibly can,” Drake said on stage. “This is one of the greatest songs in music history. I’ll be on stage for it, I’ll try to sing along too.”
