Drake marked his 40th birthday with a star-studded celebration featuring a surprise performance from the Backstreet Boys.
The rapper hosted the event at Casa Cipriani in New York City on October 23, one day before his official birthday. The celebration reportedly brought together more than 400 guests for an evening of music, entertainment, and luxury giveaways.
One of the night’s biggest moments came when the Backstreet Boys took the stage to perform some of their best-known hits. Drake joined the group for their 1999 classic I Want It That Way, bringing back memories of their previous performance together in Toronto in 2022.
The party also featured a game-show-style competition with cash prizes reaching $1 million, along with luxury handbags from Chanel and Hermès.
During the celebration, Drake addressed his guests and expressed appreciation for the people who have supported him throughout his life.
The birthday festivities arrived alongside another career milestone for the Canadian rapper, who recently surpassed 350 million RIAA-certified units in the United States.
