Megan Thee Stallion Accused Of Harassment In Lawsuit By Former Cameraman

Megan Thee Stallion Accused Of Harassment In Lawsuit By Former Cameraman

A man who used to work as a cameraman for Megan Thee Stallion has filed a harassment lawsuit in a California court against the hip-hop superstar, alleging that her conduct created a hostile work environment.

According to media sources, the complaint from Emilio Garcia says Megan's "conduct created a hostile work environment for Plaintiff, making the conditions of his employment intolerable in direct contravention of various statutes and state law decisions."

Garcia, who claims that he started working full-time with the artist in September 2019, says he was told "unexpectedly" in June 2023 that "his services would no longer be required by [Megan Thee Stallion]."

In the complaint, Garcia claims that the rapper's violations of the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) began in June 2022 while he was on tour with the musician in Ibiza, Spain. Garcia alleges that he was in an SUV with Megan and three other women when the rapper "and one of the other women start having sex right beside [him]." Garcia says that the incident left him "embarrassed, mortified and offended throughout the whole ordeal."

The lawsuit says that Megan told Garcia to not discuss the incident and made "fat-shaming comments" toward him. Garcia also claims that he "noticed a change in how he was treated and saw a decrease in the number of bookings he received from [Megan Thee Stallion]."

The cameraman has also alleged that he was not compensated properly for his work and was denied overtime payment and proper meal and rest breaks.

Taylor Swift Shares Video For Post Malone Collab 'Fortnight'

Taylor Swift Shares Video For Post Malone Collab 'Fortnight'

Taylor Swift recently released the music video for "Fortnight", her first collaboration with Post Malone. The song is from Swift's most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department.

"Fortnight" sees Swift sing about a romance that lasted just a couple of weeks. Malone joins Swift on the second verse and stays through the remainder of the song. "I've been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever. I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on 'Fortnight,'" Swift wrote in a statement.

The video, which Swift wrote and directed, also features Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles. It opens with Swift in a wedding gown but restrained to a hospital bed in an institution.

After taking a pill, she hallucinates various situations involving Malone's character. Eventually, Swift returns to reality and starts undergoing some sort of shock therapy.

"When I was writing the 'Fortnight' music video, I wanted to show you the worlds I saw in my head that served as the backdrop for making this music," Swift explained. "For me, this video turned out to be the perfect visual representation of this record and the stories I tell in it. Post Malone blew me away on set as our tortured tragic hero and I'm so grateful to him for everything he put into this collaboration."

"I still can't believe I get to work with the unfathomably brilliant Rodrigo Prieto on cinematography and my team of dream collaborators. The entire crew made this a dream to shoot," she added. "Thank you to everyone involved and everyone who has watched it!!"

Drake Officially Drops Kendrick Lamar Diss Track 'Push Ups'

Drake Officially Drops Kendrick Lamar Diss Track 'Push Ups'

Drake officially shared his Kendrick Lamar diss track "Push Ups" to streaming services on Friday (April 19), a few days after the track's leak.

The track sees Drake responding to Lamar's barbed verses on Metro Boomin and Future's "Like That," which took aim at him and J. Cole.

Drake does not target only Lamar on "Push Ups." He also takes aim at the Weeknd, Rick Ross, Metro Boomin, and Cole himself.

After Drake compared himself to Michael Jackson on "First Person Shooter" in 2023, saying the two are tied for the most No. 1 singles on the Billboard charts, Lamar took aim at him on "Like That," likening the Canadian rapper to Jackson's longtime rival Prince.

"Prince outlived Mike Jack' N****, bum, 'fore all your dogs gettin' buried That's a K with all these nines, he gon' see Pet Sematary," he rapped on the track.

"This the bark with the bite, nigga, what's up? / How the fuck you been steppin' with a size seven mens on?" Drake raps on "Push Ups," alluding to Lamar's fifth studio album Mr Morale & The Big Steppers.

Unlike the original leak, the official version of "Push Ups" features an original beat credited to Boi-1da, Fierce, Coleman, and Noel Cadastre.
