Taylor Swift Shares Video For Post Malone Collab 'Fortnight'

Taylor Swift Shares Video For Post Malone Collab 'Fortnight'

Taylor Swift recently released the music video for "Fortnight", her first collaboration with Post Malone. The song is from Swift's most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department.

"Fortnight" sees Swift sing about a romance that lasted just a couple of weeks. Malone joins Swift on the second verse and stays through the remainder of the song. "I've been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever. I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on 'Fortnight,'" Swift wrote in a statement.

The video, which Swift wrote and directed, also features Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles. It opens with Swift in a wedding gown but restrained to a hospital bed in an institution.

After taking a pill, she hallucinates various situations involving Malone's character. Eventually, Swift returns to reality and starts undergoing some sort of shock therapy.

"When I was writing the 'Fortnight' music video, I wanted to show you the worlds I saw in my head that served as the backdrop for making this music," Swift explained. "For me, this video turned out to be the perfect visual representation of this record and the stories I tell in it. Post Malone blew me away on set as our tortured tragic hero and I'm so grateful to him for everything he put into this collaboration."

"I still can't believe I get to work with the unfathomably brilliant Rodrigo Prieto on cinematography and my team of dream collaborators. The entire crew made this a dream to shoot," she added. "Thank you to everyone involved and everyone who has watched it!!"

Drake Officially Drops Kendrick Lamar Diss Track 'Push Ups'

Drake Officially Drops Kendrick Lamar Diss Track 'Push Ups'

Drake officially shared his Kendrick Lamar diss track "Push Ups" to streaming services on Friday (April 19), a few days after the track's leak.

The track sees Drake responding to Lamar's barbed verses on Metro Boomin and Future's "Like That," which took aim at him and J. Cole.

Drake does not target only Lamar on "Push Ups." He also takes aim at the Weeknd, Rick Ross, Metro Boomin, and Cole himself.

After Drake compared himself to Michael Jackson on "First Person Shooter" in 2023, saying the two are tied for the most No. 1 singles on the Billboard charts, Lamar took aim at him on "Like That," likening the Canadian rapper to Jackson's longtime rival Prince.

"Prince outlived Mike Jack' N****, bum, 'fore all your dogs gettin' buried That's a K with all these nines, he gon' see Pet Sematary," he rapped on the track.

"This the bark with the bite, nigga, what's up? / How the fuck you been steppin' with a size seven mens on?" Drake raps on "Push Ups," alluding to Lamar's fifth studio album Mr Morale & The Big Steppers.

Unlike the original leak, the official version of "Push Ups" features an original beat credited to Boi-1da, Fierce, Coleman, and Noel Cadastre.

New 'Behind The Music' Episodes To Profile Bell Biv DeVoe, Trace Adkins & Wolfgang Van Halen

New 'Behind The Music' Episodes To Profile Bell Biv DeVoe, Trace Adkins & Wolfgang Van Halen

Paramount+ has announced new episodes of the groundbreaking docuseries '"Behind The Music" will premiere exclusively on the service in the U.S. and Canada on May 1 and in the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Brazil, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria on May 2.

The new episodes profile Bell Biv DeVoe, Trace Adkins and Wolfgang Van Halen, while remastered episodes feature 50 Cent, Bobby Brown, Ice-T, Milli Vanilli, The Notorious B.I.G. and Sinead O'Connor.

Official loglines for new episodes are as follows:

When New Edition dissolved in the late '80s, Ronnie DeVoe, Ricky Bell and Michael Bivins were counted out by critics and record executives. However, they defied expectations and became a multi-platinum group with their album Poison. The trio created some of the greatest party anthems of the 1990s, but infighting, financial pitfalls, addiction and mental health struggles almost led to the group's demise. Four decades later, Bell Biv DeVoe still is performing for multiple generations of adoring global fans.

Despite a near-fatal shooting, Trace Adkins worked his way to the top of the country music charts with his platinum-selling debut album Dreamin' Out Loud. But a sophomore slump and a struggle with alcoholism nearly destroyed his career. With help from family, musicians and mentors alike, Trace pushed forward with even more hits, a flourishing acting career and a new lease on life. Wolfgang Van Halen reveals his story that's wrought with trauma, perseverance and immense talent. Born to guitar god Eddie Van Halen and actress Valerie Bertinelli, Wolfgang instantly became bound to music. As he developed his own sound, Wolfgang turned to his solo project, Mammoth WVH, before tragedy struck. Eddie's death rocked his son's world, but Wolfgang solidified his music career with a sound all of his own while continuing to honor his father's legacy.

These artists join the star-studded lineup of original "Behind The Music" episodes on Paramount+, featuring Boy George, Bret Michaels, Busta Rhymes, Duran Duran, Jennifer Lopez, LL Cool J, New Kids on the Block, Remy Ma and Ricky Martin.

The docuseries is executive produced by Bruce Gillmer and Michael Maniaci for MTV Entertainment Studios.
