Drake, Kendrick Lamar Go Back-And-Forth With 'Family Matters,' 'Meet The Grahams'

Drake, Kendrick Lamar Go Back-And-Forth With 'Family Matters,' 'Meet The Grahams'

The feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar continues, as both rappers recently released brand new diss tracks.

On Friday, May 3, Lamar dropped his latest diss track against Drake "6:16 in LA," but on Saturday, May 4, the pair dropped new diss tracks within an hour of each other, beginning with Drake's "Family Matters."

On the track, Drake fired shots towards Lamar and his wife Whitney Alford, rapping, "You the black messiah wifing up a mixed queen / And hit vanilla cream to help out with your self-esteem / On some Bobby shit I wanna know what Whitney need / All that puppy love was over in your late teens".

Drake also took aim at The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky and Rick Ross pn the track.

An hour later, Lamar responded with his own track "Meet The Grahams," in which saw the rapper address every family member of Drake, whose real name Aubrey Graham.

He began his track by speaking to Drake's son Adonis: "Dear Adonis, I'm sorry that that man is your father, let me be honest / It takes a man to be a man, your dad is not responsive / I look at him and wish your grandpa woulda wore a condom / I'm sorry that you gotta grow up and then stand behind him."

To Drake's father Dennis, Lamar said: "You raised a horrible f**kin' person/The nerve of you, Dennis," in which he then spoke to Drake's mother Sandra, claiming: "Your son's a sick man with sick thoughts/I think n***s like him should die/Him and Weinstein should get fucked up in a cell for the rest of they life."

Lamar started his beef when he fired at Drake on the Metro Boomin and Future track "Like That."

Kendrick Lamar Drops Another Drake Diss Track '6:16 In LA'

Kendrick Lamar Drops Another Drake Diss Track '6:16 In LA'

Kendrik Lamar released "6:16 in L.A." on Friday (May 3), taking another dig at Drake just a few days after striking him with "Euphoria."

The title of "6:16 in LA" seemingly refers to Father's Day, which falls on June 16th this year. The track appears to take a dig at one of Drake's sore spots of being exposed as an allegedly absentee father.

Lamar also uses the track to attack Drake on having traitors on his OVO squad. "Have you ever thought that OVO was working for me?/ Fake bully, I hate bullies/ You must be a terrible person/ Everyone inside your team is whispering that you deserve it/ Can't Toosie Slide up out of this one, it's just gon' resurface," he raps.

Lamar says Drake is getting back-stabbed by his close ones. "100 n-as that you got on salary/ and 20 of them want you as a casualty/ and one of them is actually/ is next to you / and two of them is practically tied to your lifestyle," he spits.

He also takes a swipe at Drake's failure to find dirt on him by rapping, "It was fun until you start to put money in the streets/ Then lost money, 'cause they came back with no receipts/ I'm sorry that I live a boring life, I love peace."

Finally, towards the end of the latest track, Lamar criticizes Drake for taking to social media to respond to the "Euphoria" track.

"You're playin' dirty with Zack Bia and Twitter bots/ But your reality can't hide behind Wi-Fi/ Your lil' memes is losing steam, they figured you out."

According to reports, Jack Antonoff and his Red Hearse bandmate Sounwave co-produced "6:16 in LA."

Kendrick Lamar Drops New Drake Diss Track 'Euphoria'

Kendrick Lamar Drops New Drake Diss Track 'Euphoria'

Kendrick Lamar has escalated his beef with Drake by dropping a new diss track, "Euphoria," in response to the Canadian rapper's latest diss track.

Last week, Drake released "Taylor Made Freestyle," asking why Kendrick hadn't gotten in the booth to respond to him yet. The song was Drake's second diss track after Kendrick came at him on the Metro Boomin and Future track "Like That."

"Since "Like That," your tone changed a little, you not as enthused / How are you not in the booth? It feel like you kinda removed," Drake had rapped.

In response, Kendrick starts the new song: "Them super powers gettin' neutralized, I can only watch in silence/The famous actor we once knew is lookin' paranoid and now is spiralling/You movin' just like a degenerate, heavy antic, it's feelin' distasteful/Why calculate you, not as calculated, I can even predict your angles."

Lamar also calls Drake a "pathetic master manipulator" and a "habitual liar" who is "not a rap artist" but "a scam artist."

The Weeknd Pledges $2 Million To Provide Food To Gaza Families

The Weeknd Pledges $2 Million To Provide Food To Gaza Families

The Weeknd has promised to donate $2 million to provide food to starving families in Gaza.

The United Nations' World Food Program Goodwill Ambassador, whose original name is Abel Tesfaye, is allocating another $2 million from his XO Humanitarian Fund toward the WFP's humanitarian response efforts in Gaza.

This support will provide more than 1,500 metric tons of fortified wheat flour, which can make over 18 million loaves of bread that can help feed more than 157,000 Palestinians for one month.

This funding builds on the original $2.5 million, equivalent to four million emergency meals, that Tesfaye directed to the WFP's Gaza response in December.

Additionally, Tesfaye is making an urgent appeal to fans, calling on them to give what they can by donating towards the WFP's efforts in Gaza. More than 1 million Palestinians face catastrophic levels of hunger across Gaza and need urgent support.

"With famine looming in Gaza, Abel's generous support will provide vital relief for thousands of Palestinian families who battle the grip of hunger every day. We are tremendously grateful for his contribution, compassion, and for his unwavering advocacy for WFP and the people of Palestine," said the WFP's Director for the Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe Region, Corinne Fleischer.

Tesfaye, appointed a Goodwill Ambassador in October 2021, has actively supported the WFP's global hunger-relief mission through personal donations and the XO Humanitarian Fund established in partnership with World Food Program USA. Tesfaye, his partners and fans have raised $6.5 million to-date for the Fund.
